President's Statement
Dear visitors,
Welcome to the Macquarie United Nations Society (MQUNSOC) where it is a space for dialogue, diplomacy, and leadership.
My name is Rizki Deni, and I am the society's President for 2025. It is a honour and privilege to lead a society that empowers students to explore global affairs, sharpen their public speaking skills, and become more thoughtful, engaged citizens of the world.
As President, my vision for MQUNSOC is anchored in three pillars: Innovation, Openness, and Sustainability.
"Where fresh ideas meet inclusive dialogue - for a future that lasts."
Rather than a typical student society, MQUNSOC is community of collaborators, future leaders, and thinkers who care about the world around them and their role in shaping it. And I extend this invitation to you to join us this year by participating in our events, bringing your voice to the table, and shaping the next chapter of MQUNSOC.
Warmly,
Rizki Deni
President, Macquarie United Nations Society

As President, my vision for MQUNSOC is anchored in three pillars: Innovation, Openness, and Sustainability.
- Innovation reimagines what student diplomacy can look like. We do this by embracing creative formats, hosting dynamic simulations, and bringing fresh perspectives into traditional models of Model UN and debate.
- Openness reflect our commitment to inclusivity and transparency. We welcome students of backgrounds, disciplines, and levels of experience. There is a place for everyone in the society, whether you are new to international relations or a seasoned MUN delegate.
- Sustainability ensures the evolution and endurance of the things that we build today. We do this by investing in sustainable leadership structures, preserving institutional knowledge and memory, and forging partnerships that extends beyond Macquarie University campus.
